The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) – Australian Section, Incorporated hereafter called WILPF Australia respects and is committed to protecting your privacy and acknowledges the importance of the privacy and security of your personal information.

This Privacy Policy including how we use cookies outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information. We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The APPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information. Should there be any inconsistency between this Policy and the Privacy Act 1988, this policy shall be interpreted to give effect to and comply with that legislation.

WILPF is a non-profit association independent of all political parties, with International headquarters in the Canton of Geneva (Switzerland).

Should WILPF Australia be required to share personal information with WILPF’s International Secretariat we will do so after informing individuals of the reason for doing so and in full compliance with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988.

Security of Personal Information
WILPF Australia is committed to protecting your data. Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure.

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal information.

The WILPF Australian Section Board is responsible for the administration, revision, interpretation, and application of this policy.

As we plan to ensure our Privacy policy remains current, this policy is subject to change. Please return periodically to review our privacy policy. If we make material changes to this Privacy policy, we will notify you by email or by putting a notice on our Home Page.
